ABOUT THE AIRLINE : US
Airways first flew the US Postal Service back
in 1937 under the All American Aviation title.
Since then, US Airways has undergone various
name changes. In 1949, the airline was named
All American Airways, and by 1953 it was renamed
Allegheny. In the late 1979's, the name US Air
was introduced; along with the new name, international
services were also added. At the end of a four
year association with British Airways, US Air
reverted to its old name of US Airways.
